"For all good poetry is the spontaneous overflow of powerful feelings: and though this be true, Poems to which any value can be attached were never produced on any variety of subjects but by a man who, being possessed of more than usual organic sensibility, had also thought long and deeply."
William Wordsworth, "Preface to Lyrical Ballads"
Poetry is not reserved for education just as much as it is not reserved for a select few to enjoy. This is where Comma Excess brings you an experimental look at an interactive poem adorned with beautiful illustration: "Eight Seasons."
A young woman is betrayed by her tribe. As a consequence, she goes out to protect "She who guides us through winter," a spirit of unimaginable power, from a threat that looms in the distance. . .an assassin that kills with its hiltless sword.
Yet, can she protect the spirit and herself from this threat?
